With the right support, all learners can achieve and progress academically. Each learner is unique. No two learners learn the same. Therefore, individualized instructional pathways allow learners to gain MORE from the educational experience. Learning is easier when you have an excellent teacher. That's why most of our educators have achieved an advanced degree in their field. Our faculty are passionate about the subjects they teach and bring this enthusiasm into their lessons. Our mission is to embrace the pursuit of excellence both inside and outside the classroom. We encourage critical thinking and emphasize the learning process over rote memorization.
GUEST SPEAKERS & PRESENTERS
To help youngsters with career options, various specialists have provided virtual and a few face-to-face informational sessions for the campers. There have been multiple professionals, entrepreneurs, retirees, etc. This year looks to be very memorable. Do you wish to volunteer or have the name/contact for this prestigious spot? Please share your information via email ASAP. You must show that you have passed the background check procedure for being around children. If you already have that status, please provide us with up-to-date evidence before presenting to the campers.
YOUTH & YOUNG ADULT - ALUMNI ASSISTANTS
For 12 plus years, The STREAM Labs has served youth in critical thinking, problem-solving, STEM content, safe laboratory practices, interdisciplinary hands-on projects, cognitive and academic test preparation, and STEM competitions. Many of the students who begin as summer campers continue throughout the years that follow in one capacity or another. Recently, we began to bring on some of the older alums as helpers. This summer, we expect three adult and young adult helpers. They bring knowledge of our activities and a critical memory of how students benefited from the experiences.
